The United Kingdom’s presence is strongest in Commonwealth countries Singapore, Brunei, and Malaysia. Investment and defence cooperation are its main areas of strength in these three countries, as well as information flows, where the United Kingdom performs strongly throughout Southeast Asia, reflecting the reach of its media outlets, particularly news agencies, newspapers, and TV broadcasting.
